Do you have sunset tours?
Please call the office at 575-754-6335 to see if sunset tours are
scheduled during your visit.
Are tours offered every day?
Yes. 7 days a week late May thru Labor day
September - October we offer fall folliage tours. Call 575-754-6335
for reservations.
Closed: November - May
Do we need to make reservations in advance?
Reservations are not necessary, but recommended – summers
are busy!
What time do we need to arrive for our reserved tour or rental?
Allow at least 10-15 minutes prior to reservation time to fill
out the necessary paperwork.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All cancellations will be charged $50.00 cancellation
fee.
We will refund the deposit less the cancellation fee for
any cancellations made 3 days or more prior to reservation.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within
the 3 days prior to reservation.
No shows will be charged the full amount for the reservation
made.
Groups arriving with less people than reservation was
made for will still be charged for the full amount of
the original reservation.
What
is the minimum age for children?
Children must be at least 2 years old.
Do you allow food on the tours?
Due to limited space, no coolers are allowed. Please feel free
to bring snacks and a bottled drink.
What if it rains?
Tours and rentals are not cancelled except for extreme weather
conditions. All tours go rain or shine, so please bring rain
gear. We do carry rain ponchos on the jeeps. There will be no
refunds due to rain.
What should we bring?
Bring a lightweight jacket, hat, sunscreen, and your camera.
Bring a car seat for any child that needs one.
Should we tip our tour guide?
Yes.
How many people will the jeep accommodate?
Most will accommodate 7-8 people, depending on size and weight.
Do the jeeps have seat belts?
Yes, all of our jeeps have seat belts for your protection.
Will we stop to take pictures?
Yes, we will stop along the way to our destination to take pictures
so you can take part of your adventure home with you!
Will we see mountain wildflowers?
Yes. Depending on the month, you will see some of the 250 kinds
of wildflowers in the Red River area, including columbine, Indian
paintbrush, bluebells, cinquefoil, and more.
Will we see any bears?
Probably not. Bears generally stay away from people. You may see
beavers, chipmunks, mule deer, elk, big horn sheep and other animals,
though.
